Mission Roatán

In April of 2024, a devastating fire completely destroyed the only public hospital on the island of Roatán, Honduras, causing losses of an estimated 14 million Lempiras (~540,000 USD) in supplies and medicines, and leaving approximately 55,000 people without affordable access to emergency, surgical, delivery, or inpatient care services (1).

The local and federal governments have begun construction on a new hospital, but there is a disparity between what government funding will cover and what the population needs. Our goal is to bridge this critical gap by raising funds for needed medical equipment and supplies.
